Fast-growing wine brokerage has an immediate need for a talented and experienced Direct Sales Training & Hiring Manager, to be responsible for the overall hiring and training of new wine brokers for our seven US offices located on both the East and West Coast. This would be an incredible career opportunity for the right candidate! Based in California, we are an international wine brokerage and negociant with a history that dates back 350 years and sales in excess of $35,000,000. We offer our private clientele exclusive, boutique and other top-end wines via nationwide direct telephone sales. Responsibilities will notably include developing a best-of-class wine sales hiring process and training curricula for our telesales environment. This includes all sales training, orientation, wine education, sales training follow-ups and master classes, office-manager coaching (to ensure structured feedback of salespersons as they gain experience), organizational best practice capture and dissemination processes, and a longer-term skill development and maximization program for all salespersons. Traveling required.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree and a Minimum of 5 years of demonstrable experience in recruiting, hiring and training direct sales personnel, as well as direct experience in cold-calling and lead generation.
Mastery of telephone sales principles and techniques, extensive telesales training experience in an outbound sales environment (B2C experience a
considerable plus) as well as experience developing and implementing sales training programs are all a must. A proven track record of leadership & coaching abilities also required.
The ideal candidate will also demonstrate a clear understanding of general business and marketing principles, and the ability to work and communicate effectively with highly paid sales individuals.
Prior wine sales experience is a plus and you should thrive in a fast-paced, sales-driven, environment.
