Reporting directly to the Sales Manager the District Manager will maintain positive company morale will represent the Company in a professional manner and will fulfill any duties the Sales Manager and Corporate Officers assign. The major duties of this position involve connecting quickly with people in a poised, convincing and enthusiastic way. The position will entail working at an extremely fast pace, and will require working cooperatively with and through people in order to complete tasks and will be an integral in motivating others. The position requires team or collaborative work within the organization, and will be an integral part in bringing out the best in others. A strong sense of urgency, initiative and drive are required to accomplish things correctly. Setting strategy, goals and ensuring execution of each are crucial to success in this role. Reporting directly to the Sales Manager this position will be required to communicate in clear and concise messages. This leadership role requires the individual to train, motivate and evaluate all direct reports and ensure goals are aligned with both company policy and vision.

Provide leadership to team of Pre Sell Representatives and Route Managers within a specific geographic area to achieve volume and expense targets. Set strategy pertaining to account execution, display strategy, product distribution, and time management. Evaluate the efforts and ability of each member of team to ensure maximal execution. Setting goals and objectives for Route Manager and Pre Sell Representatives. Ensure standards outlined in the company's ride with scoring system. Ensures all customer needs are met within district. Direct activities of Route Managers and Pre Sell Representatives Provide training, coaching and feedback to staff as needed. Achieve assigned period and annual district volume and brand targets Assign Pre Sell Representative sales goals, and track progress to ensure execution of all programs Coach and provide continuous feedback to Route Managers / Pre Sell Representatives on display/shelf conditions, customer interaction, opportunities for increasing volume and profitability, negotiating and selling skills Conducts formal “work with” sessions that highlight developmental needs and recognizes individual; check for store displays and merchandising integrity. Ensure all Pre Sell Representatives fully implement promotional programs maximizing sales and/or build the most effective off-shelf displays in all stores Conduct monthly district sales meetings with staff to present promotion activity, new product introductions, display execution objectives, improved display selling techniques and sales aids and/or other training as required. Team with Pre Sell Representatives to present programs/objectives and follows up on key account execution performance. Partner with Human Resources to improve and resolve performance issues Observe and report competitive activity within the district or with individual accounts; recommend solutions to Sales Manager. Promote practices that result in all sales personnel conducting themselves in a manner that promotes safety Oversees consistently excellent product quality, presentation, and customer service in all district stores. Responsible for the company standards of quality in all locations. Follows through on any customer feedback Leads and supports team in the area of performance. Counsels team and helps managers counsel employees. Gives positive feedback, but addresses performance issues quickly and thoroughly. Conducts pay and performance reviews for team on a consistent and monthly basis. Ensures that all productivity numbers, sales, and budgets are met. Oversees efficient scheduling and ensures that bottom line productivity is met or exceeded in all routes.

Minimum 5 years Leadership experience Beverage Distribution or related sales experience preferred Proven leadership skills B.S. in related field or equivalent education and experience Demonstrated record of excellent customer service, sales building, and quality standards operations Demonstrated ability to identify and delegate tasks appropriately so team members grow. Possesses a valid driver's license in the state of residence and maintains a good driving record.
