Job Details
The Hennessy US Prestige Brand Ambassador is a part business developer, educator and public speaker who will focus on representing Hennessy XO, Paradis and Paradis Imperial. The core mission is to accelerate Hennessy Prestige Range commercial performance and drive brand awareness within the trade channel in assigned regions, leverage market insight and competitive intelligence to unlock prestige growth opportunities and present new ideas to the brand team.

Applicant must be willing to travel 70% of time to: Los Angeles, San Francisco, Las Vegas, Washington, Hawaii, Texas and Illinois

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
A. Sales Teams Training (25%)
Train/retrain MHUSA and distributor sales teams on Hennessy brand at least once a year. Ensure they are optimally equipped to drive Prestige portfolio within their accounts. Contents include brand heritage, tasting notes, key selling points and competitor key points.

KPIs:
•New Placements of Prestige Marques within On & Off premise channels.
•100% of sales teams within assigned region trained at least once a year on Hennessy and Competitor.
•Level of brand knowledge of sales teams.
•Quality of ambassador relationship with sales teams

B. Account Support (35%)
Execute account work- work with MHUSA & Distributor sales teams to help drive New Placements and Account Brand Awareness/preference and commercial performance – distribution, visibility, velocity /depletions. Target account universe includes key on/off premise High Image account in assigned regions. Includes PM, Hispanic, Asian, and (selected) Team Hennessy accounts. Target Frequency 1x quarter in tier 1 markets, 1x half in tier 2 markets, 1x year in tier 3 markets.
KPIs:
•Commercial performance generated through work with– New Placements, Distribution, visibility, velocity/depletions
•# of work with executed and # Accounts visited in each market
•Quantity and quality of relationships developed with accounts resulting in leveraging HN brad growth.
C. Trade & Consumer Events (20%)
Recommend and conduct trade & consumer events to drive brand awareness/preference that translates into commercial performance – distribution, visibility, velocity/depletions. Types of events to include lunches, dinners and VP tastings.
Target Frequency once a quarter in tier 1 markets, 1 per half in second tier markets, 1 x year in third tier markets.

KPIs.
•# of trade individuals engaged and # of events executed.
•Commercial performance generated through events – new placements, distribution, visibility, depletions/velocity.

D. Track, Manage, Report (20%)
Proactively track and analyze account performance, higher marques placed (Where, When, how many), competitior marques placed at HIA accounts and work with BDMs and MHUSA and Distributor teams to identify Prestige growth opportunities. Monitor industry trends and competition in assigned region and provide program/tool development ideas and recommendations to brand team.
Manage T&E budget, product samples, education materials and POS inventories.
Generate weekly Recap Report providing details of week efforts, results and learnings.
Generate Monthly Calendar (booked 1.5-2 month in advance)
Generate QBR reports quarterly for SG and MHUSA Brand Steam.



Qualifications
Applicant must have been a brand ambassador before for 3-4 years and have an extensive history in working in luxury wine/spirits.
