Position Title: Manager, Sales Strategy & Route to Market Excellence
Position Location: NYC Headquarters Office

The primary purpose of this position is to support Pernod Ricard USA’s efforts in spirits and wines sales and route to market strategy. The role incorporates a blend of traditional responsibilities in strategic planning, sales operations, program management, and analysis requiring an incumbent with a mix skills in market analysis, project management, sales optimization and business operational support. Join a dynamic, energetic, and creative team and serve as an internal subject matter expert on multiple facets of PR USA’s route to market.

Responsibilities include:
Strategic Projects:

?Lead project with evolving, proprietary mobile CRM application and developing robust reports and dashboards to enable sales productivity & efficiency.
?Manage salesforce impact analysis and associated documentation and oversee communication appropriate internal and external stakeholders.
?Manage other sales strategic projects to drive progress and execution.
?Ability to navigate and respond to ad hoc commercial strategy initiatives.

•Sales Engagement:
?Trusted adviser to the both sales leadership and field sales.
?Manage commercial communication to wholesalers and field sales teams.
?Train and coach sales on CRM best practices and sales processes.
?Firm understanding of the US three tier system as well as the channels.
?Partner with business units to lead initiatives, attain buy in and ensure action and adoption.

•Planning & Analysis:
?Stock status and inventory management. Recommend process improvement.
?Lead ongoing analysis of business performance to support daily operations.
?Design and interpret key performance metrics. Deliver insights and compelling recommendations.
?Assist in developing and delivering world class presentations for senior executives.
?Address situations with urgency and respond with solution-based options.

•Bachelor’s degree is required, MBA a plus

Desired Skills/Experience:
•Minimum of 5 - 7 years of beverage industry experience in customer focused environment. Incumbent must possess strong commercial acumen and demonstrated success influencing wholesaler engagement.
•Experience leading and managing a team required.
•Exceptional problem-solving skills: demonstrated ability to structure complex problems and develop solutions.
•High-performing, self-starter eager to disrupt traditional practices.
•Excellent project management and organizational skills a must.
•Experience with and BI tools a plus.
•Expert presentation skills, especially related to building compelling PowerPoint presentations.

Travel Requirements:
•25-30% domestic travel.
?Regular in-field market visits
?Wholesaler interaction
?Various internal meetings
