Position Summary:

• Acceleration of top line P&L growth through sound decision making. Identifies how best to analyze strategic options, chooses and applies the most appropriate tools/techniques. Participates in leading the business in the selection of the right strategic options. Leads others through the creative process of developing alternatives to strategic issues.
• Develop, drive & implement advanced pricing and promotional effectiveness modeling and execute the most relevant and ambitious programs. Develop shopper/market insights and superior category understanding to drive customer engagement and make PR USA a “Best in Class” supplier in the US Wine & Champagne category.
• Candidates must have experience utilizing Nielsen data to make sound pricing decisions at the market level.

Major Responsibilities / Accountabilities:

• Own Gross Sales to Net Sales on the P&L at a market level
• Budget & LE process inputs include FOB’s, Allowance & Discount needs, & Net Sales impacts by market & brand. Own trade Allowance & Discounts allocation by market based on must win priorities
• Ensure quick decision making with Region & Market managers on pricing deals
• Own full life cycle of a market pricing decision. What is it? Did it work? What was the lift? Do we need to step change? Go, review, balance.
• Analysis of competitive set by market & brand and propose pricing tactics to team (High low versus EDLP)
• Utilize Nielsen data to make sound pricing decisions at the market level
• Strong understanding of market by market pricing laws and nuances, while ensuring brand pricing strategy are implemented
• Perform post promotional analysis & RO
• Plan, measure and evaluate full pricing and promotional model to give PRUSA brands a competitive, value building advantage
• Converting fact-based Category Management tools to results.
• Assist in Identifying individual market pricing priorities and needs.
• Develop, communicate and implement national and regional strategic initiatives and brand priorities for key customers through direct reports in close coordination with all the respective sales divisions.
• Effectively communicate progress against initiatives.
• Work with all key division sales contacts to foster a team environment
• Critical functions of this position include building productive, collaborative cross-functional relationships with each division, specifically with regards to strategic planning, promotional effectiveness and program execution.
• Manage and deliver results within annual plan budgets
• Plan and deliver P&L targets.
• Track Budgets to insure that all spending is within corporate policy

Nature & Scope:

• This position will interact directly with Region Managers & Market Managers to understand both the value chain and the interventions possible to drive strategic opportunities at a local market level. Able to translate business strategy into impact on profitability and P&L Understands the impact of decisions on a group and local basis.

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Finance (or accounting); MBA preferred

Experience / Background: Minimum 5 years in financial analysis /planning with experience in commercial planning /profitability. Excellent understanding of P&L preparation and analysis of variances.
