The Field Digital Manager will play a central role in enabling the success of the Field Digital Coordinator team at Pernod Ricard. This role’s primarily objective will be ensuring the success of our e-Commerce strategy with retailers across the country, adjusting and tailoring to state/retailer-specific needs.

The ideal candidate will have experience either working directly with or managing a customer-facing team that is responsible for both Brick & Mortar and e-Commerce. You will know how to work across a fully integrated e-Commerce business including digital shelf basics through to the ideation, creation, and implementation of a omni channel shopper program. A pragmatic understanding of the financial implications of channel choices and pricing decisions based on profitability within, but not limited to, the BevAl space is a must.

Experience in transformation and change management is appreciated, but not required; however, you should be comfortable creating trainings and onboarding programs for existing teams as well as new-hires for the digital space.

Major Responsibilities / Accountabilities:
• Ensure the sell-in, localization and implementation of the central e-Commerce strategy while localizing based on customer capabilities and state laws.
• Coordinate e-Commerce business between field digital coordinators / market activation and key functions (ie. Brand Activation, Legal, Merchandising) at Pernod Ricard USA HQ.
• Field content and shopper marketing requests from Field Digital Coordinators routing them to the in-house studio or external vendors.
• Manage project timelines to ensure accurate and timely delivery of digital assets.
• Brainstorm new and creative ways to bring national programming to life on retailer e-Commerce sites through available path-to-purchase tools or, as necessary, coordinating with Path-to-Purchase Manager
• Partner with Senior Manager, Capabilities to provide value-add training to the field to ensure success within the e-Commerce space.
• Advise Field Digital Managers and Market Activation Managers with the establishment and tracking of campaign KPIs.
• Must have pragmatic understanding of the financial implications of channel choices and pricing decisions on profitability.

Nature & Scope:
The Field Digital Manager reports to the Director, e-Commerce. You will be required to work with several functions at Pernod Ricard HQ with your primary focus on the success of Field Digital Coordinators / Market Activation Managers.

This role will require superior interpersonal and project management skills as this function will support Pernod Ricard sales divisions. The ideal candidate will require a high level of autonomy and will need to be a self-starter, creative problem solver, and is comfortable working with leadership both in Pernod Ricard as well as retailers.

Key Requirements:
Experience / Background:
• 5+ years of hands-on experience working on a customer-facing team (ie. trade marketing, sales) that is responsible for both Brick & Mortar and e-Commerce
• Must have experience with eCommerce merchandising/activation development and deployment, and measurement.
• Experience within the BevAl space.
• Must possess clear understanding of digital consumer journeys through conversion and measurement.
• Must have familiarity with digital conversion platforms such as Ibotta, Checkout51, Google Shopping, ShopKick, etc.
• Must have experience in managing digital agency projects either at an agency or client.
• Analytical skills - the ability to synthesis data points and insights from various sources, drive recommendations, and outline implication and project plan.
• Transformation Management – capacity to help non-digital natives begin to transform store-only programming into omni channel programs
• Training & Onboarding – creation, simplification, and deployment of a varying degree of e-Commerce topics in a simplified format for non-digital natives to consume and understand
• Ability to travel 25%+
• Minimum of Bachelor's degree, Master’s degree a plus.
