Summary: Build affinity and sales for Avion in Southern California and additional markets when needed; responsible for education and persuasion of key trade, consumers, and the media. Role involves some travel.

Duties to include:
• Serve as the entrepreneurial Avion Manager who fuels success for Avion through motivating and engaging trade, distributors and consumers.
• Be the expert and educator by mastering knowledge of tequila, cocktails, competitive spirit brands, and the creation and production of Tequila Avión.
• Develop key relationships with owners, managers and bartenders of target restaurants, restaurant groups, bars, clubs, hotels, and key off premise accounts.
• Work alongside sales teams to help open doors and close sales.
• Securing new back bar and menu placements and increasing brand presence in key influential on-premise accounts and regional restaurant chains. Create impactful floor displays in off premise.
• Use initiative, innovation, strategy, and high-quality execution to support and broaden Avión’s success.
• Engage consumers throughout region to create affinity for tequila and Avion.
• Act as a brand champion in the market to motivate and excite sales force and distributors.

Special Skills:
• Fluency in Spanish strongly preferred, but conversational Spanish is required.
• Confident, charismatic personality with a passion for the industry.
• Driven to execute and win, motivated self-starter.
• Strong commitment to timely follow through
• Understanding of the business side of hospitality (ROI, margin, etc).
• Strong sense of creativity
• Friendly and outgoing with a sense of humor
• Organizational skills with a strong ability to prioritize and attention to detail.
• Professional appearance
• Understanding and strong appreciation of spirits, wine, cocktails and food.

• 8+ year experience in hospitality industry with previous sales experience
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
