Position Summary:
The Coordinator, Marketing Activation assists in managing merchandising and trade communications across the Pernod Ricard USA spirits portfolio in accordance with the brand strategy as communicated by the brand team. The candidate will work under the direction of the Senior Manager, Marketing Promotions, with a close collaboration with the Marketing Activation team, to deliver impactful programs and tools for the company’s award-winning portfolio. The candidate will work with the Senior Manager to oversee external agency partners as well as coordinate trade tools to ensure delivery and communication of marketing support as an integrated approach to sales, division marketing and Distributor partners.

Responsibilities/ Accountabilities:
• Support in the delivery of impactful and creative merchandising programs to support brand business goals for assigned brands.
• Work closely with Senior Manager to insure legal compliance, on-time delivery and within budget.
• Establish strong, collaborative working relationships with brand and partner/vendor agencies.
• Oversee management/ordering/budgeting of brand-related POS items and traffic items to final location for ongoing program periods.
• Work with Senior Manager to ensure communication of our programs by coordinating delivery of Marketing Tools and support.
• Manage mailing list for Buy Book and Sell in Tool Kits.
• Oversee listing and receipt of materials to build out both field communications.
• Route assets/content to communication platforms: Brandcloud, FCN, Briefcase, ProBevSouce to ensure information is available and found for our internal and external partners.
• Support Senior Manager in managing and reconciling budget and expenses for department including processing purchase orders.
• Assist in various administrative tasks to better the day-to-day processes and function of the Marketing Activation team.
• Build PRUSA/spirits industry knowledge by participating in internal training programs, and otherwise build knowledge of company, industry and products, reporting findings back to ensure development and growth within the team and business.

Nature & Scope:
Position typically works with external agencies, and all internal stakeholders – i.e. legal, sales, marketing, digital, multicultural, media, ecrm/CRM, finance and customer service personnel as well as distributor partners; POS account representatives and supplier personnel. Communication can include sensitive information, requiring confidentiality and discretion in dealings with contacts.

Key Competencies:
Education:Bachelor’s degree required (preferably in Marketing, Business Administration, or related backgrounds).

Experience / Background: Minimum three to four years marketing management experience either with an agency background and/or brand is required. The fundamental underpinning of this role is understanding "client service" and serving in a counselor capacity. Relevant corporate experience is beneficial, and an understanding of the alcohol beverage industry is a plus, though not required.

Skills Necessary:Excellent negotiation and influencing skills. Strong financial skills/business acumen. Excellent oral and written communication skills with a keen eye on presenting self in the most positive and professional manner (as a steward of the company’s brands). Self-motivated, ability to operate in a fast-paced team environment. Ability to take direction from multiple managers and distill direction into action. Entrepreneurial spirit. Prioritizes work flow to meet goals and deadlines. Approaches work in a meticulous, thorough, detailed and results-oriented manner. Ability to multi-task while paying close attention to detail. Strong organizational, client service and interpersonal skills

Expected Travel: 10% of the time, both domestic and international
