Job Description


The Warehouse Associate I is expected to perform general warehouse duties such as picking, packing, receiving, quality assurance and customer assistance as needed while adhering to Bounty Hunter standards and guidelines. This position reports directly to the Warehouse Supervisor.

 

The Warehouse Associate I is expected to:

 

-      Check in and put away products, verifying quantities and quality of received material while maintaining clear isles and walkways and ensuring products are properly organized.

-      Assist in maintaining appearance of warehouse. Know location of merchandise in warehouse. Keep material organized and put away.

-      Participate in ongoing education and training as directed or desired and continuously update product knowledge. Stay informed and educated as to product inventory and applicability. Know location of all the merchandise in warehouse.

-      Perform inventory cycle counts as required following through on discrepancies as needed.

-      Perform other responsibilities as directed by the warehouse supervisor/manager in a safe and responsible manner, following all safety rules. Inform supervisor/manager of any potentially hazardous conditions.

-      Perform all job duties in a professional and ethical manner at all times. Treat employees and correspondents with courtesy and respect.

-      Have a passion for safety and foster a culture and spirit of continuous improvement, promoting awareness and addressing potential hazards.

-      Meet customer’s expectations for quality of service, packaging and on-time delivery to ensure the success of Bounty Hunter.

The performance of this position will be measured by the ability to pick, pack and ship orders in a safe, timely and efficient manner and completing all warehouse functions on time while adhering to Bounty Hunter standards for quality. 

Qualifications


- Proven experience 3 years of experience in warehouse operations - While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands and arms to finger, handle, feel, or carry; reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance or stoop; kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee is regularly required to lift up to 40. and up to 75 lbs. The employee is frequently required to lift up to 40 lbs. The employee is occasionally required to lift up to 75 lbs. Must be able to safely tolerate heat in the summer and cold in the winter. - While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear; read and identify numbers for accurate order filling and receiving of material. The employee is regularly required to apply sound reasoning and logic performing daily tasks. The employee is required to be able to safely operate a pallet jack and other warehouse tools in order to complete their daily tasks.
