Position Title: Market Manager, Chains Execution – TX Position Location: Dallas or Houston, TX (home-based)
Position Summary: The primary purpose of this position is to plan, develop, & execute PRUSA’s off premise selling, merchandising & execution strategy across all channels and segments in Texas regional chains. The position is responsible for managing chain distributor teams to deliver chain agreed upon metrics. This incumbent will be responsible for owning and driving market execution, merchandising, sales tracking metrics, survey’s, Shelf / L3F management & overall retail level performance in the Texas regional chains. PRUSA brand standards will be top of mind and will lead transformational execution within the chain market of TX. This incumbent must be skilled at working across organizations, various departments, and levels of management. This individual will also be responsible for the management of statewide initiatives as assigned, including: market surveys, POD programming, & blitz activities. This position requires the ability to: 1) be detail-oriented, 2) manage multiple projects on time, and 3) quickly build strong relationships amid fast-paced/complex market dynamics to outperform the market and grow share.

Major Responsibilities / Accountabilities:
Business Analysis, Business Planning, & Performance: (10% of time) •Create account level execution and compliance metrics to track distributor and account performance. Will act as the execution expert within the state. Manage day to day performance through PRUSA & Distributor information (Greatvines). •Actively creates & provides selling materials, category insights, & solution oriented metrics to assist distributor sales in execution of PR USA selling initiatives. •Monitor progress against channel specific objectives and implement course correction where necessary thru the market team. •Assist in managing RNDC/PRUSA account reporting to include: Pricing, execution, ads, & competitive intelligence.

Distributor Management (aligns with Division Manager Chain Execution): (45% of time) •Maintain and deliver in efficient ways of working, process, and tools for driving towards best-in-class execution of programming. Will be the state lead for best practice communication across both dedicated and non-dedicated chain sales team for programming sold at the HQ level. •Take a pro-active role in the design, launch, & tracking of execution via Greatvines. •Manage and influence all local resources to achieve distribution, share gains, depletion, & execution targets. •Develop & train RNDC sales teams & management on products, selling opportunities, KPI metrics, & overall execution of PR USA initiatives in TX chains. •Regularly works the market to include defined list of chain accounts.

Budget Management: (20% of time) •Work in confines of state / market budget requirements outlined by in the AOP for all promotion development, incentives, & retail activation plans. •Work with Manager, National & Regional Customers (MNRC) to provide input on incentive KPI’s to align with business priorities of promotional periods & programs to the MNRC. •Work with MNRC to develop and communicate Pre – Post program evaluations.
Account Management: (25% of time) •Sell PRUSA brand Program & initiatives with the goal to advance overall Nielsen and Depletion performance within the applicable accounts of responsibility. •Work with chain buyers & influencers to develop individual relationships throughout the HQ buildings. •Assist with Inventory / Planning / Forecasting / VAP Planning. •Understand & communicate any pricing or strategy adjustments made by the retailer or PRUSA (ex: margin requirements, PI’s, category KPI’s). •Clear understanding of target price points based on history and customer margin.


Key Requirements: Education: Bachelor’s degree highly preferred. <br /> Experience / Background: Position requires 5-7 years of previous sales management experience, preferably in a wine and spirit or consumer goods sales environment with proven success managing distributor relationships. <br /> Working Conditions: Field Environment: Work is performed in a typical field environment with moderate demands for movement and lifting. Normal visual, hearing and language acuity required for correspondence and computer usage.
