Job Description

Position Title: VP, Customer and Channel Planning & Analysis Position Location: Irving, TX (Division Office)
Position Summary: The primary purpose of this position is to lead Chain business planning and Customer/Channel solutions with a goal of outperforming the market. This individual will lead a diverse team of professionals within customer/shopper insights, customer solutions, Chains finance, sales operations & planning, and pricing to develop joint business planning for major US chains. The incumbent will be responsible for building the PRUSA Chains plan designed to deliver annual net sales and volume targets and develop the strategy for channel and customers through brand, package, price, geography, and category analytics. The VP, Customer and Channel Planning & Analysis (VP, CCP&A) will develop category strategy and thought leadership by driving distributor merchandising initiatives to best position PRUSA brands on shelf and on display. The VP, CCP&A will serve as a key enabler for an agile and collaborative Chains organization and will function as a thought partner while providing support to the General Manager, US Chain Customers.

Major Responsibilities / Accountabilities:
Relationship Management: •Serve as a key member of the Chains leadership team and key interface between HQ, Revenue Growth Management (RGM), Senior Chains Management Team and Regional Field Management Teams. •Build and maintain strong relationships with Channel VP’s & Customer Management Teams •Work in team environment with both chains leadership and division leadership teams to streamline positioning of brands within channels & customers as revenue goals and budget alignment is strategized.
Integrated Business Planning: •Collaborate with Senior Management to drive the business priorities of the Chains Division •Own the Chains Integrated Business Planning process expressed into: - Channel & Account prioritization - Brand and package prioritization - Program Calendar (Channel, Brand and Multibrand) - Associated & Allocated Resourcing ($) - RGM pricing and retail strategy in chains •Category Management – shelf positioning, space gains, segmented distribution, innovation, category initiatives
Analytics, Revenue Management & Reporting: •Develop robust Channel, Customer & Program KPI’s and performance tracking expressed through: ?Clear ROI metrics with post program analysis ?Shopper and share analysis ?Optimal Net Sales return from investment decisions ?Competitive analysis (brand, package, market, category) •Develop and enhance competitive intelligence, customer intelligence, geographic economic data and technology trends •Own RGM Chains Strategy (collaborating with RGM and HQ), translating into Channel playbooks and tactics, to drive superior value return from the Portfolio. •Enable the Chains organization by building the key technology/systems/data battlegrounds to drive competitive advantage •Promote & drive a self-serve reporting environment
Budget Management: •Deliver the Annual Budget Plan (Channel / Account / Brand / State) – lead planning process and management routine for plan submission to CODI and HQ planning team (brand and BP&A) •Manages annual chain budget for A&P and T&E as well as performance tracking for chains, channel, brands, markets and distributors. •Responsibility for updating senior management team on all aspects of budgets & forecasts providing insights & financial recommendations communicated in a clear articulate manner •Analysis of our Brands / Channel / Accounts monthly performance highlighting key drivers of the results and delivering the insight that will direct the decisions taken to drive future performance •Work closely with NY HQ and Field DFD’s, driving efficiencies and commercial/strategic alignment and collaboration
Team Management: •Lead, develop and inspire a best in class CCP&A organization of 16 with 5 direct reports. •Develop team capabilities and provide training.


Education: Bachelor's Degree required, MBA a plus. <br /> Experience / Background: •A minimum of 10 years relevant leadership experience in Commercial Planning & Analysis and Finance roles. •Experience in leading a team of 10+ •Dedicated experience in leading change management processes with individual teams or company-wide initiatives. •Strong sense of integrity and ethics. •Demonstrates strong intellectual curiosity; always seeking new approaches and challenging the organization to new levels of success. •Naturally thinks and acts like an owner. •Excellent written, verbal & interpersonal communication skills with ability to communicate at all levels.
