RSLP Ventures is looking for an outstanding, self driven, account executive to sell bourbon and rye barrels and/or experiences.  Applicants should be able to thrive in rapidly changing physical and online environments and will be given the reins to showcase their sales acumen in the extremely lucrative world of spirits. Over the course of any given month, you will move from setting up/contacting a list of potential barrel buyers, visiting bourbon societies across the nation, making sales, and building connections at some of the nation’s biggest events in spirits. This is a unique opportunity to truly validate one’s sales potential while making a real, impactful, and measurable contribution to the spirit industry as a whole. 




You are responsible for developing and executing a go to market strategy to sell highly sought after bourbon and rye barrels / experiences. 


Ideal Candidate 


Ideal candidate is a 21st century doer who has professional sales experience at a high level.  You understand the digital world, navigate it proficiently, and have a keen understanding of how to target and engage with prospective buyers. The candidate must have knowledge of bourbon and at least five years of experience in developing and executing sales strategies. 



  • Minimum 5 years sales and / or marketing experience 

  • Strong experience with Bourbon industry preferred, but okay if have experience in sales premium other alc. Bev. experience.

  • Great interpersonal skills 

  • Strategic sales tactics

  • Ability to approach different demographics/bourbon societies/etc successfully

  • Data driven and ability to interpret data into action

  • Understanding of online sales and marketing tools

  • General understanding of current trends in Bourbon industry (retail, on premise, online)

  • Knowledge of Shopify, Bloom, and / or any other online platforms.

  • Natural Leader

  • Passionate and effective communicator via engaging presentation skills. Someone who knows the barrels will not sell themselves. 

  • Good with G Suite, MS Office, etc.

  • Knowledge of CRM tools such as salesforce a plus
