Meaningful Work From Day One
Responsible for all winery, bottling, and warehouse operations and related activities to ensure the effective and profitable operation and growth for +500K cases facility, processing 9000 tons of grapes per year and includes management of 1.5M gallons of wine, and responsibility for 20,000 barrels. This position will be required to develop and oversee internal budgeting and cost control measures; develop strategic operational plans; review winery guidelines as they relate to industry regulations and compliance concerns. The position is also responsible for providing leadership and direction to the staff involved in winery operations and activities related to optimal employee relations management.
To be successful, this position will work closely and well in a team environment with EH&S, Human Resources, Quality, Winemaking Team, Supply Planning, Maintenance & Engineering, Vineyard Management, Grower Relations, Finance, and IT.
What You Can Expect
We Are Looking For People Who
Have a Bachelor's Degree in Enology, Engineering or related field and a minimum of 3 years’ experience in related positions, or 10 years related work experience in a similar role. Previous supervisory experience in production, cellar, and/or bottling environment required. Thorough knowledge and understanding of production, storage capabilities, transportation logistics, people management, and safety regulations. Bilingual English/Spanish required.

Bachelor’s Degree in Enology, Engineering, Business, or other areas related to manufacturing or production management with 10 years applicable experience in a manufacturing environment or equivalent education and experience. Excellent Judgment and Decision Making, manage through Ambiguity. Strong people and management and coaching skills. A collaborative and credible leader who can build a culture of inclusion and ensure all employees feel valued for their contributions. Strong relationship-building and influencing skills. Ability to establish and articulate a strategy, then translate into a meaningful approach for others. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
